Agglomeration is the process of aggragating fine particles of materials (like powders) into a solid shape.
Outside of the recycling industry, the pharmaceutical industry utilizes agglomeration in the production of pills. Within the recycling industry the most common uses of agglomeration are pelletization and hot briquetting.
